Vintage Carstens Tönnieshof "Twin Houses" Dark and Light Brown Vase | Made in West Germany | 7916-20
This Carstens Tönnieshof vase was produced in West Germany in the 60's! It is made of dark and light brown ceramic and features a lovely design!
The Carstens Tönnieshof factory was located in Freden an der Leine (West Germany). During the 1960s, Carstens expanded and products were produced in Austria, Chile, Argentina and Australia when production may have been as high as 10,000 items per day.
This piece is in great condition with no cracks! There are some signs of use and some crazing in the glaze, as expected for a piece of that age (see photos). There are two (2) small chips.
It is marked with the twin house logo and “7916-20 W.- Germany” at the bottom.
This vase will be a great addition to your boho style decor!
